Atralin is a tretinoin, a topical form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself. This medication is used to treat acne. It works by decreasing the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop and by affecting the growth of skin cells.

Side Effect:
Signs of an allergic reaction include:hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat; blistering, crusting, severe burning/swelling of the skin, eye redness and watering (conjunctivitis), eyelid swelling. Seek medical care if any of these occur.
Less serious side effects are;burning, warmth, stinging, tingling, itching, redness, swelling, dryness, peeling, irritation, or discolored skin. If any of these persist or worsen, call your doctor. ...

Atralin may make you more sensitive to the sun, therefore use a sunscreen daily, and wear protective clothing when outdoors. While using this product avoid electrolysis, waxing and chemical depilatories for hair removal on the treated areas.
