The most commonly observed adverse reactions are headache, nausea and dry mouth. Due to low systemic absorption of Atrovent/ipratropium bromide, unwanted anticholinergic effects as tachycardia and palpitations, visual accommodation disturbances, gastrointestinal motility disturbances and urinary retention are rare and reversible, although there is an increased risk of urinary retention in patients with preexisting obstruction urinary tract. ...
