Side Effect:

This medication is generally well tolerated. However, allergic reactions have been reported. Discontinue use and notify your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms while taking this medication:fever, chills, flushing, hives, skin rash, itching, headache, nausea, breathing difficulty, rapid heart rate. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. ...


Precaution:

Tell your doctor if you have:heart disease, kidney disease, liver problems, blood disorders, anemia, allergies (especially to protein).

Buminate is made from human plasma. Products made from human plasma may contain infectious agents, such as viruses, that can cause disease. This also applies to unknown or emerging viruses and pathogens. The risk that such products will transmit an infectious agent

has been reduced by screening plasma donors for prior exposure to certain viruses, by testing for the presence of certain current virus infections, and by inactivating and/or removing certain viruses.

This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. ...
