Side Effect:
Buspirone is generally well tolerated and no severe adverse reactions were reported. In general side effects that may occur early in treatment were reported were transient disappearing by continued treatment. If these side effects persist or become bothersome contact your doctor.
The most common are:dizziness, headache, nervousness, excitement, fainting, gastrointestinal disorders and nausea.
Less common:feelings of anger and hostility, confusion, blurred vision, diarrhea, muscle and bone pain, numbness, sensory disturbances, balance problems, tremor, rash, fatigue, weakness, sweating. ...
Precaution:
The drug should be used with caution in these situations:(1) for mild or moderate liver failure may require dose reduction, depending on the severity of the condition (no drug in the body is low and high blood concentration); (2) mild to moderate daily doses may reduce, because elimination of the active substance is low and plasma concentration is increased; (3) if you have glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye); (4) if you have myasthenia gravis, a disease manifested by excessive muscle weakness.
