Symptoms of overdose include dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, severe drop in blood pressure, slurred speech, and weakness. The most common nifedipine side effects included:swelling or water retention (edema); headaches; fatigue; constipation; nausea; dizziness or lightheadedness; muscle cramps or shakiness (tremor); dry mouth (see Nifedipine and Dry Mouth); impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction or ED.
Stop this medicine if ischaemic pain occurs or existing pain worsens shortly after initiating treatment; poor cardiac reserve; heart failure or significantly impaired left ventricular function; severe hypotension; elderly; diabetes mellitus; avoid grapefruit juice. ...
Precaution:
You should not use doxepin if you are allergic to it, or if you have glaucoma or problems with urination. Do not use doxepin if you have used an MAO inhibitor.
