Usually AK-T-Caine PF/tetracaine ophthalmic drops are well tolerated and safe for most of the people and does not cause severe adverse reaction. Blurred vision, redness of the clear part of the eye, sensitivity to light, severe stinging in the eye, tearing or throbbing eye pain may rarely occur. If any of these persist or worsen, call your doctor.
Also rare, but serious are corneal erosions, slow eye (corneal) healing, trouble breathing, itching, dizziness, unusual anxiety, confusion, tremors followed by drowsiness. If you notice any of these stop using this medicine and seek medical help immediately.
