Alcohol and acetone combination is used to clean oily or greasy skin associated with acne or other oily skin conditions. This medication is used to remove excess oil and dry the skin. Wet the skin before applying. Gently work up a lather and rinse thoroughly. Do not scrub the skin. If redness, drying or peeling of the skin occurs, apply this less often.
