Rashes involve changes in colour or texture of the skin. Often the cause of a rash can be determined from its visible characteristics and other symptoms.
A simple rash is called dermatitis, meaning inflammation of the skin. Contact dermatitis is caused by things your skin touches, such as chemicals found in elastic, latex and rubber, cosmetics, soaps and detergents, dyes and other chemicals in clothing, ivy, oak or sumac.
Candidiasis is a disease that can cause itchy rash on the skin. In addition to itchy rash on the skin, other symptoms of candidiasis include: Inflammation of the skin, small blisters, rash in armpit, rash under the breasts, rash in the folds of skin, white patches in the mouth white spots inside the cheeks, white spots on tongue, and white patches in the throat.
